FIRST Tech Challenge

Coronado Robotics currently operates two FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) teams. These teams are our vanguard, our very best. They strive to build, code, test, and succeed with medium-sized robots (18 inches) utilizing metal working, CAD, and 3D printing skills engineer robust systems, then Java Programming to run the robots through a 30 second Autonomous Period, followed by a 2 minute Driver-Operated Period. The robots are paired up in alliances of two, and faced off against other alliances to score the most points during the 2 1/2 minute match. 

Our teams are #24029 CocoNuts & Bolts, and #26982 Sentinel. Sentinel currently favors a fast, aggressive approach to engineering and testing their robot, while CocoNuts & Bolts (CNB for short) takes a more methodical, drawn out mentality in their prototyping process.
